Topic of the lesson:  Work and leisure  .
Objectives:  Revise the key words of the unit;
                    Practice in using the  Present Continuous Tense;
                    Develop reading, listening, speaking skills ;
                    Form positive attitude to foreign language.
Materials: books, copybooks, CDs, flash cards.
                                           Procedure
 I. Starting the class.
 1. Greeting and aim.
                                      T.: Good afternoon.
                                     Ps.: We wake up in the morning
                                            Ready for the day.
                                            Hello, hello, good afternoon,
                                            What a lovely day.
I'm glad to see you. How are you? P-P.
I want to start our lesson with the song. Let's sing the song "I am playing a team game".

I am playing a team game.
I am watching my TV.
I am acting in a school show.
I am climbing a green tree.

Lots of things
I do and act,
Have and make,
Read and take...
So many things
I watch and see.
They are all
Good for me.

At this lesson we are going to:
read texts;
talk about children's work and leisure;
listen to a new text and work with it;                     
         
Checking up the homework :Your homework was to draw  your favourite cartoon's  character and describe him.
There is the exhibition of your pictures.
To check your homework I propose to play a game "Guess the character".
One pupil goes to the blackboard. He is a leader. His task is to describe the hero, the other pupils have to guess. The first pupil who gives the correct answer becomes the leader.
              
II. Main part of the lesson
1.Reading
Pre-reading
T.: We can spend our free time in different ways.
How children can spend their leisure time?
P.: They can ride a bike, fly a kite, swim, play sport games, and so on.
Take the card number 1.
T.: Look at the picture. Who can you see?
P.: I can see the children and a parrot.
T.: What are they doing?
P.: The boys are playing football. The girls are eating. The parrot is drinking.
T.: The children's names are: Adam, Helen, Sally, Peter. The parrot's name is Echo.
Look at the blackboard and read after me: Adam, Helen, Sally, Peter, Echo.  
While-reading
T.: Listen to the text.
T.: Let's read the text.
Post reading
 What are the children's names?
Where are they?
Take the card number 2
Put the sentences in the order they are in the text.
2.Adam and Peter are playing football.
3. Helen is swimming and Sally is reading.
1. Adam, Helen and Sally are at the club.
4.And Echo is drinking Adam's lemonade!
2.Grammar practice

-Make up a sentence from the words and write down.

Dancing they are.                                        Is he listening.
-Correct the sentence and write down.
1.He are reading a book.
2.We am playing in the park.

6. I are doing my homework now.
Physical activity.
I think it's time to relax.. Do you remember the song "We are traveling by...". Stand up, please. Let's do some activities.

Reading .
Open your books at page 94.
Pre-reading.
T.: Look at the pictures of ex.1. Who can you see?
P.: I can see the boys.
T.: What are their names?
P.: Their names are Bill and Nick.
While- reading.
Listen to the dialogue.
Read the dialogue in roles.
Post-reading.
Look at the first photo and answer my question. T.: What are the boys doing?
Look at the second photo. Who is this? What is Bill doing?
Look at the third photo. Who is this? Where is she from? What is Alice doing?
But now we are at school. We are having the English lesson. And we must work  to know English better.
Listening.
Pre-listening activity.
What do you do at your lessons?
What are you doing now?
What is the teacher doing? 
Look at the pictures and tell me ,please, what is the teacher doing?
What is the boy doing?
Is this girl writing? What is she doing?
Listening activity.
Listen to the text. After that you'll have two tasks:
True or False test;
Complete the text.
Post-listening activity.
  1. Decide if the sentences are true (T) or false(F).

2. Complete the text.
